How close the two are

Very close on price, because the model is the same: you pay the real interchange of each card. The difference is in what sits on top. At RONPAY that is 0.55% and 0.05 EUR; at Adyen it is 0.60% and a processing fee of about 0.11 EUR. On a 100 EUR payment the gap is about 0.11 EUR, before scheme fees.

When Adyen may be the right choice

If you are a large merchant with payments in many countries, need a single platform for online, in-store and marketplace flows at global scale, or want a provider that is itself a licensed bank. Adyen is built for that size of business.

If you are a small or mid-sized business and want to start in hours, with no minimum invoice and a team that answers you directly, RONPAY is the simpler route.
